Online drum lessons with a professional London-based drummer, with 16 years of performing, writing, recording and teaching experience.

I am currently offering online drum lessons. The way it works is pretty simple:

       All you need is:

  • An internet connection

  • (Free) Zoom access

  • A pair of drumsticks

  • A practice pad

And from the comfort of your own home, you can enjoy professionally-delivered, yet friendly and fun and highly-tailored drum lessons.

I hold a BA(Hons) degree in Popular Music Performance (Drums) from the University of East London, taken in the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance, graduated in 2019.

I graduated with First Honours, and a "Best Drums" Award.

Moreover, I have been teaching and tutoring in both schools and privately for over 9 years, and I have taught people of ages 4-55, both in-person and online.

In December 2019, I became the drums auditioning tutor for ICMP. This involves interviewing and assessing candidates' skills and their suitability to higher degree education in music.

For 10 years I've been playing guitar and bass too, and have managed to use those skills to write and record my own music. As such, I've gained experience in both songwriting, recording, mixing and producing music. I am passionate about music and drums, and also very excited to pass on the knowledge I've acquired over all these years.

As I currently have the chance to take on a few more students, I'm happy to teach people of all ages and levels, as I'd love to inspire more people to play music, be it as a dream or just a hobby.

I am a DBS-checked drum tutor.

My lessons are planned according to the needs, skills and ambitions of the student.

I aim to deliver an environment as fun and relaxed as possible, while making sure to keep our lessons as educational and helpful as possible toward the student's level and goals.

If you're looking to start or get further on your Rockschool grades, I will be very happy to help you with this, as I am a registered RSL Awards teacher.

My remote teaching setup consists of: a full drum kit, three useful, high-quality camera angles, professional sound quality and a virtual whiteboard.

All of these allow me to deliver lessons as, if not more, efficiently than in-person classes, with the added benefit of you having these in the comfort of your own home.

The very minimum you will need for our online drum lessons are:

  • A stable internet connection

  • A device where you can use Zoom

  • A pair of drumsticks

  • A practice pad

If you have a full drum kit (whether electronic or acoustic) that is fantastic!

A drum kit will allow us to go further with our lessons.

If you need some gear recommendations, I am always happy to help with this too.

It is true that some of the clarity of in-person lessons can be lost in an online environment. However, I believe that its benefits far outweigh the disadvantages:

  • Thanks to my remote teaching setup, there is no loss of immediacy or flow;

  • As travel is not a necessity, lesson times are more flexible, and prices are lower;

  • You get to set up your drums or pads the way you like it - as opposed to having to sit in on somebody else's kit. I am happy to assist you with setting up your drums;

  • Lesson materials are easier and quicker to share;

  • There is a 0% COVID risk.

While my standard charge for a 60min in-person lesson is £35,

these are the costs for my online drum lessons:
